ESL Reading Comprehension
ESL reading comprehension is important for all new English learners. To understand the basics of everyday life—from newspapers to job applications—a person will need to gain adequate English reading skills. Once you begin looking for information—you will find there are a variety of great resources to help you choose the best stories for ESL reading along with practice questions that help you comprehend the information.
Reading for ESL students is one of the first skills needed to begin enjoying life in your new situation. There are a variety of stories available that will not only be interesting and easy to read but they will also help you understand different types of grammar and vocabulary. Basic ESL reading questions may include "who is the main character" or "what is the setting of the story?" Once you gain English reading skills that allow you to answer these questions accurately your language development will be right on track.

Terkadang kita tidak
sadar telah membuat orang sedih, kesal, marah bahkan saat kita berfikir kita
sedang bercanda. Maka betullah pepatah tuh….maafkan saya ya.this is my sad
project.
Setelah our captain DKA menyuruh kami membuat sad project
saya bingung bagaimana buat orang sedih.
Sesampainya di kos saya masih berfikir bagaimana saya membuat sad project.
Bagaimana mungkin saya membuat dan memposting sad project sedangkan happy
project saja saya tidak berani mempostingkan,yang artinya saya memperlihatkan kejelekan
saya sendiri. Tapi jikalau saya tidak mempostingnya lagi maka saya akan membuat
dosen saya tersebut sedih lagi untuk keduaa kalinya.karena saya ingin
mengatakan korban pertama sad project saya adalah our captain sendiri dengan
tidak membuat and memposting happy project.maafkan saya pak sudah membuat bapak
dosen sedih. Makanya saya membuat sad project ini bukan semata- mata untuk
nilai pak tap lebih untuk memperbaiki kedepannya.
Pada hari yang sama saya juga telah membuat sedih papa
saya.sebelumnya saya ingin mengatakan klau tanggal 24 oktober kemaren tepatnya
hari jum at kemaren adalah ulang tahun mama saya.jadi, saya menelpon mama ubtuk mengucapkan happy birthday.
Setelah itu saya cerita sama maam saya. Dari mama saya tahu klo papa saya sedih
karena saya. Beberapa hari sebelumnya saya meminta papa utuk membeli buku
grammar untuk saya tetapi papa saya memebeli buku grammar untuk anak sma,
otomatis saya langsung complain tanpa memikirkan betapa telah menyempatkan
waktunya untuk mencari buku disela sibuknya dia bekerja dan saya dengan
gampangnya complain tanpa basa basi.mendengar cerita dari mama membuat saya
meras bersalah dengan apa yang sudah saya lakukan.padahal saya tahu betul kalau
papa sangat sibuk dengan pekerjaaannya.
Orang yang selanjutnya saya buat sedih adalah kakak kost
saya sendiri. Biasanya saya akan bersikap ramah dengan sekedar menyapa untuk basa basi. Tapi karna
satu alasan membuat saya kesal sama kakak tersebut, ditambah lagi dengan
masalah – masalah yang lain membuat saya marah besar. Biasanya kalaupun saya
marah saya akan diam dan pergi kekamar langsung mendengarkan music. Tapi hari
itu benar2 ingin meluapkan kemarahan saya (kebiasaan kalau udah habis kesabaran
heheheheh).dengan marah nya saya
membanting pintu kamar dengan sekuat tenaga.kakak itu benar2 kagetmelihat
experessi sya hari itu yang tidak seperti biasanya.tapi setelah itu saya
menyesal sekali.maafkan ainun ya kak, kakak jadi kena saran deh.
Orang yang sedih selanjutnya saya buat adalah teman saya
sendiri (kholis) dia adalah salah satu dari 3 sahabat saya dipesantren dulu.
Biasanya kami saling mensupport satu sama lain walau terkadang berbeda
pendapat.kalau ada yang salah kami selalu berusaha menegur satu dengan yang
lain dengan cara yang ramah sopan dan lemah lembut. 3 hari yang lalu kami saling berkirim foto
lewat bbm.saya tahu betul kholis sangat suka bernarsisi difoto lalu dia
mengirim fotonya.Tapi hari itu saya ingin bercanda- canda eh ternyata dimasukin
kehati.dia mengirim foto yang lucu sih sebenarnya tapi saya komentar “ihhh
menor bangat sih dandanannya, alay bangat “dia hanya mengirim gambar stiker
yang cemberut.astaga maksud becanda malah jadi kena cemberut.dia sedih karana
saya ngomongnya blak-blak an gitu.i’m sorry.
Selanjutnya wafiq,ketika sedang mengerjakan tugas dari mam
lina kami sama2 mengerjakannya di bb.pas
dikumpulkan saya melihat kertas punya wafiq robek, saya langsung komentar “
waw….kertas wafiq paling rapi ya ( majas ironi). Trus wafiq komentar “ kamu
berhasil buat sad project ainun. Sorry ya wafiq J.
Tau aja ainun mw buat sad project.
Selanjutnya adalah kak yanti.hari rabu kemaren saya minta
tolong sama kakak tu untuk membawakan sesuatu yang akan dikirimkan oleh seorang
kakak saya juga.saya tlpn kaka yanti gak diangkat saya tlpn kakak yang satu lagi
juga gak diangkat. Padahal saya butuh bangat sama yang saya minta tersebut.
Saya jadi kesal , bbm dia pun pending.astagaaaaa….jgn sampe kesabaran saya
habis.30 menit kemudian kak yanti sms “ dek kakak gak sempat mintanya tadi,
maaf ya” astaga orang ini gak tau apa klo saya butuh sama sesuatu tuh.trus saya
balas “terserahlah , makasih lah “ tentu saja kak ynti menangkap aura kesal
dari kata- kata saya.lalu kak yanti sms lagi “ adek sebenarnya marah siapa ?”.
oh my god.pelease deh jangan mulai lagi. Lalu saya jawab” udahlah gak usah
dibahas gak penting juga kali”
Jadi, saya benar benar minta maaf sama orang yang sudah saya
buat sedih dan kesal. Saya hanya manusia biasa yang sering khilaf.

MANUSIA

Synopsis
Van wilder has graduated from his high school and get the
best score for that year. After graduated from high school, he must do his
family tradition in Amsterdam and continue his father job in there. There he meets
a beautiful girl named Kaitiline, who has boy friend. It doesn’t make van give
up. He always tries to make Kaitline impressed and nerved. However, the problem
comes, Dirk and Charles don’t like to van. They make a problem and trap Van with put a forbidden thing in Van’s room. Dirk also makes some trap
to make Kaitline hate to Van. However, Van does not like it, and tries to against
dirk with his trick. The armies make a competition who can be the winner, he
will stay in there, and who lose has to out from there. Who is the winner and who
will lose?

Plot
Introduction

Van wilder has graduated from his school and go to Amsterdam
to follow his family tradition. When he arrived in Amsterdam he meets Charles,
who doesn’t like him. Charles makes some problems to Van, and they hate each other.

Climax
|
When van has relation with Kaitline,
it makes Dirk doesn’t like Van more and more. He tries to trap van with put
narcotic in van’s room and calls police to catch van. Dirk also ordered the
woman to near van and makes Kaitline jealous. However, van never gives up and
makes Kaitline trust him again.

Van and Kaitline compact to against Dirk and Charles. Finally,
they win the competition. Dirk and Charles in the jail.
